How appropriate that we are starting the Book of Acts. This is the story of how The Church began, Luke 1:1-4, and how we too are to make disciples of our fellow Christians as the Apostles did. It is more than sharing the Message. It is mentoring those new believers so that they may become mentors themselves.
I liked Doug's story about how Hopalong Cassidy mentored his young friend in a movie that was seen by countless youngsters. We may not be able to do what Hoppy did but when we are given the opportunity we should be bold for Christ and His Church. Remember The Holy Spirit is right there with us.
The Apostles had actually seen Christ and how he loved. We have not seen Jesus but because we believe we can also love as Christ did. It is perpetuating.
If you missed this week's study or it has been awhile since you have been with us, please join us this coming Friday, same time and place.
