..I overdosed. I began feeling very badly, nauseated, my heart was beating so fast. Then I remembered what I had learned in the Mission Generation textbooks about God. I started praying to God. Tears came out from my eyes and I started asking for help. Before I started praying, I felt so bad, so depressed; but as I started praying, I began feeling very tranquil... I was asking God to give me one more chance. As I prayed, my tears began to fall and little by little the pain I felt inside left. And then I felt peace. After I prayed, I felt like a new person...Without Mission Generation, you would find me totally lost. I would still be involved in drugs and I wouldn’t know my life’s purpose..."
“The program is a great help to us as parents - to have it in the school and at home. For my son, it has helped him to learn important values and principles like to respect his parents and his classmates. His behavior has changed. He’s become more loving, more social. It’s a joy what the Mission Generation textbooks are doing.” - YELA VARGAS (parent) I went on a mission trip to Bolivia a year or so ago and was extremely impressed by the work of Mission Generation. What was most impressive was how the MG curriculum has prepared each child to receive Jesus into their heart. I personally spoke to about 120 teen aged children and all but a few prayed to receive Jesus. Other members of the team had the same experience. Children at every age group were anxious to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior.
